BUGGIE, FLU BUG.. ALL KINDS OF BUGS

Went to church 2/19-
Well let's just face it, bub and I need some Jesus in us, I mean don't we all- and EXTRA amounts from time to time? I mean these displays of love don't come from one with the halo on his head do they? :)

Little did I know that at this age it is one hour of mingling with other tots and one hour of praying for more patience for me :). I mean can't I get a piece of construction paper with some scribbles on it as he hums "Jesus loves the little children" when I pick him up with a newly rejuvenated and bright halo? NEWP, not yet :).

Singing ABC's clearer and clearer-
The little genius is singing this song like it's nobody's business and it makes my heart tingle. He is also singing other songs that it makes me crazy that I don't know the song he is singing!! Last night I pointed out the sun in a book we were reading before bed and he busts out like it's karaoke night and puts his hands up in a circle and then starts doing all of these hand gestures and singing, but words we couldn't understand. I was just imitating him and his hand gestures acting like I knew the song and he was happy as a clam with momma "knowing" what he was singing. GOSH DANGIT I want to know what they sing in class!! It was so freaking cute! He loves to sing and has some awesome dance moves if I might say so myself hee hee!

Carrying his stool where he wants to go-

He loves playing in the sink though! It's a great "non outdoor" activity with all the rain we have had lately!

OHHHHH momma you is sooooo funny :).

He has now learned that there isn't much out of reach with his stool aka potty in his hands! I can't wait til he wants to use it for what it's initial use is :). Speaking of, we are getting a little bit of signs that the time may be close for us to give it a shot and see if the porcelain bowl can be the recipient of a sprinkle or 100 the way we have to change his diapers. The kiddo loves him some beverage and it's going to make it that much more tough when potty training. Right now he calls both "actions" poo poo. More and more he will come up to us and say "Poo Poo"?? And reach at his diaper.. I usually ask if he wants to go sit on the potty and he will... Only leave he and I staring between his legs as he sits on the big potty. I can totally see where a parent can be lazy with potty training, I can tell it's going to be a lot of work. Especially with him, one of the signs that he is ready that we don't get is a dry diaper for a long time or at nap or bedtime! Yeah right! I could knock a fool out with one of those bad boys in a dodge ball game :). So there will be many trips when we are training!

Look at these future CEO's!

Growling to imitate snoring
One night there was a "lull" when we were reading before bed.. Just all sitting there and I pretended to be sleeping and threw out my best snore. B thought it was too funny and decided he would give it a shot AND GROWLED to be a "snorer" hee hee, pretty darn cute if you ask me ;).

Said I love you first
It happened, and I have a witness. Speaking to my beloved Jerre Ruth he said it, LUHH YOOUU! FIRST! I was in shock and she said oh my gosh he said it first!! I was like OMG he did!! Now, although not all the time, he will throw out the I LUH EW first. Yes baby boy and you had my heart first too!

If ever there is even 30 seconds of silence and it isn't because of Elmo or Mickey Mouse Clubhouse intriguing him on the TV, run to check on him and quickly at that.. If you choose to be trusting of your angel, you will find the halo quite crooked when you find this-

Coffee creamer anyone?

HOLY QTIPS! The ninja did "this" in only a couple of minutes!

Naked minnie
4:30 comes quite early to hear the beckoning of Momma? Momma? It leaves mw wondering, where did my non speaking infant go, and where is his crib to keep my beautiful beast caged in :)? What makes this awakening even more fun is when you walk up to find a naked not saying Minnie? Minnie? and pointing to the TV. Remember that whole questioning I did, wondering if I too would have the skill of the other mothers I have watched before my time in understanding something that comes out of their child that only a mother would know? Yeah, even though this is one that is easier then some, Minnie means- turn on Mickey Clubhouse right now I said :). So in a mighty attempt not to show signs of weakness by the double over laughter that wanted to come out so bad with the scene at hand, I told my little Chippendale that he needed to get some clothes on and that Minnie was sleeping.. Oh that precious love of mine.

Whatd you do?
As the days go by so quickly, the boy becomes so smart, SO QUICKLY. One of his faves here lately is pushing a button on the remote that turns off everything at once and looking at you and saying WHAT'D JU DO? Haha, makes me laugh even typing it :) Oh no sir, What did you do my dear? He makes me simply happy, horrible head butting tantrums and all.

 IT'SSSS BAAAACK!
So a couple of weeks ago the dreadful flu bug hit again and this time momma got her butt kicked by the pest. 2 am on a Tuesday morning I heard a weird noise on the video monitor and saw Brady sitting up, I walked in to a sick bub and a bed full of you know what that doesn't involve a diaper ( sorry, still get queasy thinking about " the word"). From finding this situation it just got worse and I ended up with my fair share of what was on the inside of him that decided to be on the outside on me. We stayed home Tuesday to try to protect Gigi and Pappy from the bug then I went to work Wed.. Thursday was the beginning of hell as much as I can assume it would be like. I went to the grocery store at lunch and felt more nauseated with every step I took. I tried shoving Sprite and crackers down my throat once I got back to the office, nope- did nuttin'. I took off in a race to get home and didn't make it 5 min. from the office before having to pull over in a parking lot. It was awful, and from there I was in bed freezing like a naked eskimo in Alaska and had such bad aches! As in my teeth hurt I was so achey! I didn't feel a whole better until Sunday evening! It hung around for a long time!!! Sheesh, hopefully all is well until next winter :).

I totally forgot that because I am so slow at blogging now that Valentine's Day came and went!

Brady's class since he doesn't go to school on Tuesdays, celebrated on Wed., Feb. 15. I made these goldfish Valentine's for his sweet little tot friends :).

Brady made these coffee cups with a little chalk board for his teachers :).. Don't you love the handwriting lol.
Try writing on a round surface with a piece of sidewalk chalk the size of a concession stand pickle :).

The cups were filled with  "kisses" :).

All of his sweet little valentine's, apparently I went overboard with what I sent for him to give out haa haa!

This was his little bag they made in class, I can't wait to decorate shoeboxes like we used to! Do they still do that? They better!

Look at this cute little "valentine's card"! I will be stealing this idea for future years and really feel like I need to be best friends with the mom. We had the same competitive Valentine's creation idea going! :)

FUN FOTO FINISH!

Holy tantrums.. Life is just too rough sometimes when told No..

Although alot of the time he chooses to water the grass with this delicious sugar water, we are slowly but surely taking on the capri suns and juice boxes quite nicely!

Looking at his peeps and telling me all about 'em :). I presume anyways.

He loooooves to play in the Expedition!

Wearing his daddy's 900 lb. slippers.

UNTIL NEXT TIME!
