From the mouth of Sully on Monster's Inc....WHHHHEEERRREE'S THE BABY???

That is what I feel like here lately… what baby? We don’t have a baby? We now have a LITTLE BOY, who is changing into an opinionated, communicative, fit throwing, heartwarming, and loving LITTLE PERSON! So many times I have said this- MAN, I HOPE I DON’T HAVE A BORING KID, I WANT A JOKER, ONE THAT MAKES ME LAUGH LIKE SO MANY OTHER KIDDOS DO. Uh yea, WISH GRANTED, here is your child Mel, along with a bag of personality to boot :). He is killin’ us over here, but in such a good way. I absolutely enjoy every second with him and even find myself bearing through the terrible blah blah’s (it sure ain’t startin’ at 2, I can tell you that ;)) with patience that I don’t know where it comes from. I always enjoy him, and although I find him needing a bit more entertainment, I go back to the many stories that I have read that I store in this fat ol’ head. SO many stories that include a mother wishing it hadn’t gone by so quickly, wishing that they hadn’t spent so much time wrapped up in everyday life that doesn’t include sitting down and interacting with her kids. It’s so easy to do, so very easy.. I have found myself really putting a separation between myself and the chores that used to drown me with anxiety and worry. I do have to say that I am proud of myself for growing past my anxieties somewhat, and also embarrassed of some of the anxieties that I read back on that I expressed on this blog. I will literally say to myself, the dishes can wait.. go spend the thirty minutes that are left after dinner has been dished out, and baths have been taken- go play with your son and totally soak him in. He makes it easy, very easy as he is so addictive to me. I already look back and can’t believe the steps we have taken as parents, and the steps he is continuously taking to become a little person with a mind, movements, words, and actions of his very own. It happens so very fast, creepy fast I think.

Now on to what keeps our bellies jigglin’ with his funny self.

It’s funny what you don’t realize that you do, that a child quickly will point out to you. Brady has began saying WHAAAAAAAAT, and at the end of the AAAAT, it gets high pitch. Where in the world did he get that from?? That is what I was wondering until I took notice to my words of what I was saying to a friend one night while talking on the phone. I am sure we were talking some gooood gossip as girlfriends are supposed to ;), I noticed that in the matter of about 30 seconds I responded to her “scoop” with WHAAAAAAAT! As if I was sooo shocked or something! I was like, ohhh my gosh that is hilarious, he is soooo mimicking me. He doesn’t know it, but he has GREAT timing with when he says it too lol, although he is really “just saying it :)”. You will ask him something, like are you hungry? You will hear WHAAAAAT??? Coming from him like WHY WOULD YOU ASK ME IF I WAS HUNGRY, OF COURSE I AM! Such a joker.

The other day he just warmed my heart, and it all came about by just simply handing me a fruit cup, basically telling me to open the darn thing. WHEN DID HE LEARN TO TELL ME WHAT HE WANTS! It was such a simple gesture, but one that had me melting with the realization of the little boy that he is growing up into. We still have a way to go with further communicating about what he wants as the kid is on strike with saying Please! I mean, we can’t even get the Pl sound or anything. He still says “thank you” in his little ways, but as far as asking for something, it’s something of a little chimp talking to me, but instead of Ooo Ooo Ooo Ooo as a chimp would make, it’s Mmm Mmm Mmm Mmm.. OVER AND OVER AND OVER lol.. It’ll make you batty real quick hahaha!

I guess the little guy got tired of running full speed ALLLL THE TIME, and decided that a less tiring activity would be to learn to go sit where the big people sit. Yep, he is a full on couch crawler.. He is doing PREEEEEETTY good with making contact between the bootie and the cushion and not using the cushion as a trampoline :). I see a teaching degree in his future, heavens does the kiddo love testing. He is already at the stage where you ask him to sit, BRADY SIT PLEASE… BRADY, ON YOUR BOTTOM PLEASE… BRADY DO YOU NEED TO GET DOWN… BRADY YOU ARE GOING TO HAVE TO GET DOWN… the second you start walking towards him, he slides down to a sitting position hahaha. It’s so freaking hard not to laugh at him, I am not good at not laughing at all, BUT with all this terrible two’s business, I AM GETTING BETTER HAHA! It’s so entertaining to me, like in a “THERE IS NO WAY YOU ARE ALREADY DOING THIS STUFF” kind of entertaining way. He is going to keep us on our toes, that is for sure!

He is getting VERY good, and sometimes downright clear, with repeating what you say. Every night after we are done reading books with his glass of milk before bed, we march to the bathroom and I chant, BRUSH YOUR TEETH, BRUSH YOUR TEETH, WEEEE LOVE TO BRUSH OUR TEETH (I know, it’s pretty unique haha!). Now you will hear him saying over and over “BRU A TEEF”, and I think it’s the cutest thing ever. It’s almost like he gets the “chant” stuck in his head or something because you will hear him saying it over the monitor when he goes to bed :). Such a sweet boy

We are trying to bring back the “arranged” marriage :). We have some very dear friends that have the most beautiful little girl, and her momma is convinced that these two are made to be together. Ericka is Dylann’s mom, and might be one of the funniest people I know. She sent me a message on facebook on Mother’s Day saying- HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY FUTURE MOTHER IN LAW, LOVE YOUR FUTURE DAUGHTER IN LAW- DYLANN LONG. Then on my birthday came this sweet greeting-  HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM- LOVE DYLANN LONG CONNELL.. hahaha!! It’s freaking hilarious! It freaking cracks me up!

So we had to do a little persuading :)

BUT, it didn't take long for the fire to spark ;) WUV, TWUUUU WUV!

Brady doesn't look happy that I distracted his lady with the camera, the little lady loves her some camera time haha!

Ericka and I think these pictures will be superb at their reception :).

We had his well check this past Tuesday, and he is coming in at a whopping 90th percentile for height at 33” long! He weighed 27.2 lbs. and is still at 75th percentile for his weight and melon (head size :)). He said everything looked great, so we will just keep scooching along with his healthy self :). The nurse even told us that as she was planning Dr. Travis’s paperwork for the day that she saw Brady’s name and was like NO WAY is he already coming to his 18 MONTH APPT.! I was like, YOU AIN’T GOT TO TELL ME NUTTIN’ SISTA! Fastest 18 months of this chick’s life! She was asking how many words he uses and I was like 5, 6, 10, I don’t know?? Then mom and I were talking and she counted TWENTY ONE.. Chatty Kathy (no pun intended mom) over here is really saying more then we stop to take notice of if you count how many words!!

One of those words is just the sweetest- BAAAAAAASSEET (Basset)!!!! Every dog bark, BASSET?? And takes off to go look out the sliding glass door, whether it is Clyde barking or not :). It made me think of my nephew Jackson and how every dog was a Bella (they have a dog named Bella), it was an aaaawwwww moment for me with Brady now doing the same thing. He is learning how to pet Clyde, and thank the good Lord Clyde is obliging quite nicely and being very patient with him. It’s crazy how that in turn makes me have more tolerance for Clyde.

He is doing really well throwing the ball actually! He will take it overhand, and with both hands really chunk it far… my dream is coming closer to reality and I am thinking about giving my 18 year notice at work since he will be making momma rich ;).

We conquered the haircut!!

HE DID SOOOOOOOOO WELL! The dumdum pop is my hero :)...We switched it up this time and I took him (by myself, to show daddy as a surprise!) to Cool Cuts instead of Sharkey’s! Sharkey’s you will not be seeing us again, sorry. It started out shakey as I get him out of his seat and in the matter of about 30 minutes from me changing his diaper to getting out at the salon, he leaked in through his diaper! He hates diaper changing tables, and we were running late (that is how I roll, I had to stop and get DUM DUM POPS OK haha) so I wanted to get in and check in so the changing table was our only option. He did great when I changed him, only giving me the poofy lip for a few seconds, so off we went to take on the clippers- THE ENEMY :). I asked the lady if I could pump up his chair up before he sat down because last time, that is what started the lip poochin’ out more and more with every pump. So we did that, I pumped it and sat him in it.. handed him a dumdum and started talking to him about what was going on. Well, it sounded like a torture chamber in there, but sadly I think that was our saving grace as that kept his attention. Watching other kids scream, how horrible is that that that saved my kiddo from being the screamer. Oh well, those 2 tots that were hating every second of becoming cuter and cuter every second, Brady was just intrigued. It was all about the clippers! I could not hear them and I was bending down right next to him.. it was AWESOME! That was the worst part of last time, and if you remember from my previous post, we couldn’t even bring them out at the house for him to play with and get used to them. He was TERRIFIED! He only gave a few cries when the end came and it was time to get his “chops” under control.. that folding of the ear will trigger the cry every time. Then she was spiking his hair and pulled out the hairdryer, yeah, that won’t be needed again in the future, but thanks. He hated the hairdryer’s guts, which I can’t say I will be working with him on liking it any time soon :).. He don’t need no stinking hair dryer.

Well I haven’t taken many pictures lately, but that is my fault, I thought I lost my camera. In fact, I went so far as to starting to think that my angel had stuffed it in the trash can!

And I have reason to be worried about that if I do say so myself.. aahhhheeemmm- PROOF (see below) ;)

I could pin point the last time I had it to the T, well to the T up until I could not find it ANYWHERE. One of the only good things about having such a small house, you don’t have many places to look for things. One of the MANY bad things about having such a small house, YOU DON’T HAVE MANY PLACES TO LOOK FOR THINGS! So, if you can’t find it- MOST LIKELY IT’S GONE. I didn’t think that it could be in a landfill until I was talking it over with Brad and he said, I hope he didn’t throw it away, or put it in the recycle bin in the pantry. I was like OHHHHHH MY GOSH, I didn’t even think about that! Well, I decided that that is what had happened, I had looked everywhere! I even called the restaraunts that we went to and asked if they had it, in case it dropped out of my purse or something. NADA.. Until we look over and Brady who was going after a ball that rolled under the couch was playing with something and it wasn’t the ball.. THAT SOMETHING WAS THE CAMERA STRAP! He found the freaking camera!! I was soooo happy! We did a happy dance yelling YAAAY! YAAAY! Poor guy, momma’s blamin’ ya and you find the “piece of trash” she is blaming you for :). Love him. I will take some pics. over the holiday weekend, but until then… momma has got some really cute phone pics!

Grammy & Man brought Christmas in May! They brought it over on Sunday, and for the record, last night (we haven't had a chance to pull it out before last night since Sunday) he was pushing the button on his own and speeding around the house! It's amazing how quickly they learn the way that the toys work!

Brady doesn't quite know what to think of the "o" face that Peyton has conquered! It is hilarious! From the looks of daddy's face, I think we see who taught her that face! hahaha!

OK, these next 2 pictures make my belly jiggle of laughter, they are HEEEEELARIOUS!

Eeeeespecially this one!

Brady looooooves Jackson, but in this picture, I think he may have been in Jackson's bubble juuuust a little bit lol. Payton didn't care.. smooshie face was way too fun!

The kids love this window at mom and dad's....

My phone takes suuuuch horrible pictures in low light.. raaahhhrrr, makes me crazy! BUT I think this picture is soooooooo sweet! Daddy and Payton doing the "surprise O face"!

Mom and dad hanging out with their "babies", atleast until October :).

Which I don't think that I have put that on here! Jeremy and Amanda are having another beautiful little GIRL in October! We are so excited for them and can't wait to have another beautiful Trimble baby!!

Until next time!! XOXO!

God sure does bless the ladies..

Not only does he give us our mommas, he gives us our kiddos..

Well, on this day the world was blessed enough to get MEEEEE :). HAHA! Although I am pretty 100% sure that there are times that the “world” has wondered just how much of a tornado I could be :). By the world, I am speaking in reference to my parents, my family, my friends.. those that were put in my life to love me and teach me how to be a better person. MY day, according to my birth certificate, and the day that has come to bring me blessings of love and happiness from the birthday salutations I receive, my day had a beautiful beginning. It, not so beautifully began with a serenade from my husband, it was howled something like this- GET UP SHAWTY (shorty, for the non rap listening folks), IT’S YOUR BIRFDAY, WE’RE GONNA PARTY LIKE IT’S YOUR BIRFDAY.. (lyrics to a song for all you non rap listening folks in 2002 :)). Dear, please go to work :). From there I trekked to the kitchen, my eyes half closed to routinely get the cup of coffee that I get every morning. What was not routine was the card that was in my coffee cup cabinet from my beloved baby daddy. So sweet, right? I ain’t done! From there I get ready, ready to take the day on (that ended up to be quite the annoying day at work with the challenges put before me), I go get my beautiful boy out of his peaceful slumber (I say this because AAAAMEN, momma was not pulled out of her peaceful slumber by bellows over the monitor- HAAAAAAPPY BDAY TO ME!), THIS AMAZING BABY BOY, has written a card and put it in his diaper drawer for me to find when changing him :). WHAT DID I DO TO DESERVE SUCH A FINE BEGINNING :). A break away for lunch with Mom and Bubb was more than needed, and I felt a little less frustrated after taking the break. The day will draw to an end with momma gettin’ to enjoy a beautiful huge globe o’ margarita, and lounge the night away, fighting any urges to clean, or do anything. Because by God, this is MY DAY :). Besides, I was absolutely in love with this weekend and all that I got to do in observance of Mother’s Day/ Birthday, which I share, because I share my bday weekends with a beautiful being.

That is where this lady comes to mind.

MYYYY MOMMA. Who just so happened to grace her momma with HER presence the day before my birthday as well :).

My mom is that of an angelic person to me, she and I have always had a great relationship. She has always been someone that you just knew would be there when you got home, she is the one that we could expect to be where we needed her to be.. running us from the way too many directions that we asked her to go in at one time. There were never questions asked if our demands were extreme. I think about my future with Brady, should we just have one son, and think.. what in the world will I do if I can’t just come home and enjoy the rest of my day :). Even though I will looooooove when he is involved in sports, all that she did with THREE of us that were very active, amazing lady she is. I never, ever remember a time that I needed my mom, and she wasn’t available to me. She was/ is always there. She was there to make sure that the same meals that we now put on the table for our family’s, was on the table- warm, delicious, and ready to be devoured when we were endlessly growing up. She is the supporter for us that no cheerleader could out do. She is the one that loved us with no judgment, she always held us close. She is my best friend, and my strength in ways I never thought possible. She is the one that helps me to find my way as a mother, and supports me when I find myself questioning my instincts. She is the rock to my ability to go back to work, to make a living so that I can provide my son all that she so generously gave of herself when I was a wee tot as he is. She has made my life rainbows and unicorns :), and I feel total peace with her in my life and with my son able to be with her. I know that as I went through my growing pains as a new adult (if that is what you called it, I don’t think I did anything to deserve that title :)) there were times I was a stubborn brat (for lack of better words), but I now cannot imagine not speaking to her almost every day. I know that I cannot expect her to open up an elementary school so that I can keep Brady with her ;), but I sure will miss it when he goes to be a big boy in school (ew!).

Mom, you are my rock, and I love you more than I would ever be able to express. Thank you for always being so kind, always teaching me the right thing to do, always being so caring and supportive, always showing your love no matter what challenge I may have brought into our lives. Thank you for being there to pick me up out of the hole I was so good at digging myself into. Thank you for always giving all of yourself to all of us (I still don’t know how you did that), thank you for the roof that you have always provided over our heads, thank you for the meals on our plates, thank you for the many trips to Mr. Gatti’s ;) (had to lighten that up, I was gettin’ a little teary eyed over here :)). Thank you for being you, for always staying strong with your beliefs, and strong with your actions. YOU are 100% of who I want to be, of who I hope to be for Brady as you are for me. You are THAT person in my life and I love you very much.

Which brings this little guy to mind.

MYYYYYY BUBBIE.

YOU, my baby boy.. Where do I begin? The light that you have brought to my soul, to my life, to my spirit, it continually grows brighter every day. Every day you are more to me, although if you asked me the day before, I would never imagine that loving you more would even be possible. I am constantly watching you, running through the house from one NO-NO to the other, shrieking with excitement because Lord knows it gets a chase out of us (you loooove some chasin’), and I think… HOW IN THE WORLD DID MY WORLD EVEN WORK PRIOR TO 11/21/2009. The emotions and the different things that you have brought into my life, they make me excited every day to walk into that room every morning to pick you up and snuggle before the madness begins- LIFE. You bring me to reality with stopping to smell the flowers, just slow down and take it in… this happens when of course I am running late, go in to get you out of bed, which you are full of giggles and wanting me to tickle you before picking you up. I tell myself, slooooow down, these days are going by quicker than I ever noticed life going. When I get you out of bed, EVERY.MORNING, you lay your head on my shoulder, snuggle your arms in to me and just hum, it is probably my all time favorite thing, besides when you snuggle to go to bed in the evenings. I hope you are always a snuggler, because lord knows, if you aren’t going or getting out of bed, you aren’t snugglin’ :). You have way too much to see/ do in your mind. You have changed so much in my life, AND MIGHT I SAY THAT NOT ONE THING HASN’T BEEN CHANGED FOR THE BETTER. I will always be your biggest fan, I will always love you with all of my heart and soul, and every part of me. I will always be here for you. I will always provide a good life for you, and always have a meal on the table and a roof over your head. I will always have an ear, and a soul that is ready to listen and give you advice. I will always have a helping hand to help you back up if you fall. I will always try to teach you the best, and give you the best of my love. My heart will always be wrapped up in you, and I will do all that I can to bring you happiness, strength, love, courage, and be able to protect you and keep you safe in my arms. This was my 2nd Mother’s Day, I can’t believe it was already my SECOND one. It’s going by quick baby boy, but I have learned to live in every moment that you give me, and soak it all in so that I never forget the good times that you have brought endlessly to our lives. I love you for that, I love you for your kind (and feisty ;)) soul. I will always love you, you are my world, and I am so very proud to have you for my son and to be the one that God chose to be in your life. You are my blessing and I am lucky for the chance to be your mother, and the one that you have blessed.

I love you always baby boy, my cup overfloweth.

Growing oh way too quickly!

Took mom to Cafe Blue on Lake Travis for some yuuummmy food, and oh what a beautiful ambience!

We (Brady) are picture hatin' these days, the smile comes AFTER the flash.

My sweet pops

This face spells FUNNNNNN! HAHA!

OK, so this picture craaacks me up.. Brad wasn't being patient with the camera which was annoying me, and Brady was not smiling unless he was tossed in the air first (I learned that after this attempt, see next picture, and the picture above this one :)). It just cracks me up, such happiness and rainbows in that picture lol.

And then we got this picture, a few minutes later.. I LOOOOVE IT!

Being thrown up in the air is the best...

Stopping the throwing up in the air game, is the worst :).

Admitting I am an addict..

Hello, My name is Melody, and I am addicted to coffee..

Last week, actually beginning the week before, was engulfed with the nights being filled with the teething terrors that I have feared since before Brady was even gracing the world with his presence. The poor guy has 6 coming in at once and they are coming on with a vengeance and I wish I could squash the pain he is having to endure. For almost 7 days beginning 4/20/11, we (Brady and I, someone has to get rest- AKA BABY DADDY :)) were up throughout the night with the exception of that Friday, we both got a full nights sleep on that night. Monday (4-25) night it went as far as Brady getting a fever, and at 2 am that fever made it up to 1:55 am (and yes I know the exact minute for almost every time I have been out of bed to nurse him back to comfort :)), and I didnt make it back into bed until around 4:30. For some reason my skin must have a S on my chest that I can’t see, or it just thinks that it is SUPERWOMAN because most of the time when I try to go back to sleep, yeah it doesn’t happen. SOOOO FRUSTRATING! Especially when at that point my life is literally a clock and I sit there and think in my head just how much sleep I will be getting at this time, or that time. It soooo took me right back to the good ol’ newborn days, and I soooo wanted to go right back out of those good ol’ newborn days of sleep deprivation ;). EVERY.TIME, I get back in bed after getting Brady back to sleep I say a prayer to the poppa above telling him thank you for giving me the “knowledge”, strength, and the coffee ;) to do what needs to be done. Last night we both got a full nights sleep, I am pretty sure that I could run a marathon today… ok well not so much, but you get the point. Hopefully we are back on track with our snoozing, I pray we are. He has started waking up for like 30 seconds, cries softly once or twice and then goes back to sleep. It's weird.. so of course now I am going crazy with the dang thermostat.. is he hot, cold, medium? :)

The sounds of shattering haunt me as little guy and his inspector gadget arms can now reach up and open my ever so fragile china cabinet GLASS doors. He can reach things at crazy distances now on counters, at tables at restaurants. I can’t find a picture, which is making me bonkers by the way because I know there has to be one out there), of the scene in ET where all you can see are his little fingers reaching around on the counter. That is what it is like at our house now haha! All of a sudden you can see these little sausages feeling around on the counter to see what lucky “find” he might be able to reach. Mom and I had a giggle at lunch the other day because now when we go out to eat there is a lovely half moon of cleared area to salvage anywhere his little “windshield wiper arms” might be able to clear off :). I am really amazed at just how much a waiter will place in front of him that I want to say, ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND?? :). I try to remember if I thought of stuff like that during my waiting years.. Of course I can’t remember :).

Loves to smell things- He is really funny with his “smelling” of things. He will pick anything up and hold it INTO his nose and smell it. WEIRD :).

MR. MIYAGI, aka, Brady’s hero.. well living in hot Texas where the BBQ’s are abundant means that we will forever have to fight the winged devils that drive me (and I can’t forget to mention the poor basset) crazy. Well, not anymore.. not only does our house come outfitted with the prettiest pinkest fly swatter hanging on the fridge ready to smush the flying rats if I am quick enough, I now have a fly catching son. I feel lucky for having a basset that will bite the air so quickly, sometimes quick enough to actually catch the devils that drive him to the looney place. This biting the air, snapping the flappy lips every 2 seconds makes me want to go batty too. WELL now do I not only have a sometimes talented basset, but I also have a toddler who TWO TIMES now has handed me a fly, and about freaked me out. A- I am so not a girly girl, and I am so much of a girly girl at the same time :). When it comes to anything bigger then a rollie pollie, and it touching me, yeah I will get the chills and be so grossed out in about .1 seconds. I don’t know when or where it happened that I just cringe with the thought of something touching me. Well, our flies are different in our household, they actually take naps I think. There are times that I think they are possums, I swear they play dead when I hit them, maybe trying to help my self esteem? When I go back to clean up my defeated fly, there is no fly, and next thing I know that buzzy rat is flying at my face. They like to hang out in the Connell household, I swear you can catch them once they are full and fat.. they love to hang out around the windows, OF COURSE. Who wouldn’t want to hang out at the one place that will make the most noise and drive the occupants crazy. Well my son has decided that it is a fun game to take his thumb and pointer finger in a pinching type of posture, he will follow the fly along the windows constantly trying to pinch it.. until he wins. For the record let’s just say that I AM HOPING that the 2 flies he has brought me are the ONLY 2 flies that he has caught because the thought of there being more.. OH GOSH THAT IS GROSS.

BAAATHET- Do not ask me why or when we started, but we have taken on to nicknaming Clyde, basset lol. The poor dog is just getting more and more neglected, I mean he lost his name for Pete’s sake :). I really don’t even remember when it started, it was before Brady.. we would play with him and be like AWWWW SWEET BASSET (on a good day he would be called “sweet” ) :). Well it has stuck, and badly. We got home yesterday and Brady went running to the sliding glass door and was saying BAAATHET, BAAAATHET. Hahaha! It is so stinking sweet. Poor Clyde.

Pretending to talk on the phone- Hello, shoulder are you there? He is just a hysterical little guy.. he has started holding his folding cell phone upside down to where it basically balances on his shoulder. He tilts the head to the side and all and will just jibber jabber away. He has started this new thing lately where when our phones make a noise, text alert, ringing phone call, he says UH OH. I am not sure where he got that, but it’s very funny to me.

I better get this post on the blog before I am another 3 weeks behind :). I will continue on with all of the most delightfully, INSANE things that the baby boy does, the next time we meet again :).

Until then, I leave you with fun pics. of our beautiful, craziness.. our life.

I think I need to find that halo again, could he not look anymore like a perfect angel with this smile! IT'S A TOTAL PLOY!! ;), but he got me with that ploy of his :).

No more halo, we are now trying to shut dada up.. LOL.

SUUUUP, WHATCHEW DOIN?

Hangin' out at Colby's Bday party.

Playing with the new mower that his sweet great grammy/ great granddad gave him.

We are veeerrryy busy these days, lots to see, and we must go in FULL SPEED MODE, in order to see everything out there.

Big guy in a liiiiiittle tent (that was for you Chris Farley from Black Sheep, RIP :))

ITS A JUNGLE OUT THERE!

Momma spyin' from the sky :).

Awwww, ssswweeeettt wiiittlllee baby boy :)

Does he not look thrilled to be held down to go through a torterous photo opp with momma?

 Cookin' up sumfin' gooooood!

Shew wee, it's break time after that hard work of cookin'.. gettin' a snack!

So I am not a stranger to the stage of toddlerhood that ends with momma wondering where all of her goodies, gadgets, jewelry, etc., have gone? I didn't realize that we were THERE, and that our little TOT, was playing magician right in front of us. I didn't know that he had all ready pulled a couple of TA-DA'S until he couldn't fit this in the trash can, along with a skillet that he couldn't fit, which meant it was time to throw a fit.

Just for giggles I looked in the trashcan and WALA, there were 2 victims already in there!

Playing in the sprinkler with Sydney and Taryn!

Chowin' down with the laaadddaaays :)

The ball pit is a chick magnet :)

Kiddie Acres, entertaining kids for 1 million years :)

I am pretty sure that Kiddie Acres has to be a million dollar business now with how long they have been alive and kickin'. I had a boyfriend in the 8th grade that worked there, and uh yeah we both know that that was more than a few wee little bitty amount of years ago :). On a beautiful, sunny, WINDY, Sunday we ventured out to meet Grammy and Man for some fun time with little B. He did sooooo good! You could tell he had the "what the" face the whole time, but it wasn't crying right? It was a great first experience and we had such a good time having some one on one time with our Grammy and Man.

You boys ready for some F.U.N!

They both look concerned haha

First lapbelt ride :)

He caught on in no time!

Do you all see this back there, my mom put me in the only PURPLE airplane ;). That comment is for Brad, he was like, REALLY BABE? The purple one? haha, I wasn't even paying attention :)

"Keep your arms and legs in the airplane", SAY WHAT LADY?

This pony sure is way up here :)

Momma, what is this thing?

He was holding on to a black piece of tape that was coming off of the pole, every time they came around it was LONGER, AND LONGER :).

NEEEEEXXXT!

Ferris Wheel time, which reminded me of a close resemblance to the parking lot carnival zipper rides :)

I was super jealous of him being on a boat :) ohhh, the good ol' days.

NO DRINKING AND DRIVING BUBBIE! And wake the kid up behind you :)
