You know it's been too long...

Wow, have the times changed or what...

When your internet browser doesn't autopopulate the web address (my blog address) when I start typing and I have to put in the extra energy to type the whole thing in not just http://www.bmc/.... :).. LAAAZY!

Well.. before the "season" gets too far from me I thought I would pop in and say that wow-wee was Christmas a doozie this year!

I think I am about over the head bonks! AND HE JUST STARTED WALKING.. I mean seriously, how much can those little noggin's endure? We had our first "THAT'S IT, HERE WE COME ER" at the first of January... I just about had a heart attack with the sight of his head going towards the corner of the dresser drawer that was pulled out that happened so quickly. Of course, we were doing the torturous alligator rolling and wrestling to get him dressed so we could zoom out the door to go to Gigi's while I met a guy that was buying our truck (WHAAAAAAT WAS THAT MELODY, YEP.. NO MORE TRUCK :(.. MORE DETAILS LATER).. Well we have a short dresser in his room that has his diapers and just baby stuff in it.. Well the bottom drawer has his diapers in it so 90% of the time it's open :).. Well it got us, and it got us good... As he was doing a great "spin move" he hit the corner.. of course starts screaming.. I knew he nailed it the second he did it. I jumped up with him and was consoling him and rubbed his head.. IT FELT WARM.. I was like NOOOOOOOO! Sure enough I look at my hand and his head is BLEEDING. You want to talk about a dadgum heart attack! I immediately am like no, no, no.. we are going to the ER... He stops crying not even a minute later (yet astounding the so oftenly astounded mother over here with how tough he is) and I sit him on the kitchen counter which makes him happy :), so I could clean it up.. yeah that is crazy how much heads bleed. I think that saying the little cut was the size of a piece of rice is a major over exaggeration hahaha! I couldn't believe it.

Since then there have been many bonks.. But the kid has the drive of a million horses... he will just get up again and again.

Well on to recalling a Christmas that for many reasons will be one I will never forget..

12/19 weekend we got together for the Wilkins (Brad's side) Christmas celebration. It was a fantastic time, of course the kiddos had way too many presents from their loving Grammy and Man.. but it was fun for all.

Just hangin' out.. literally lol.

Brad and Baby Jackson, he has gotten soooo big!

High fives!

Of course, I can only imagine the huge help he was being haha!

The two most photogenic people that I know.. DANG THEM :).
Lisa and Carson.

I think Auntie M is wondering what "Man" is doing too hahaha!

My two were a little pooped.. as you can see..

What we brought home with us unbeknowingly to anyone, was not a very nice gift from Santa :) Brad's brother's family and I guess that whole side had passed around the dreaded flu bug the week leading up to our Christmas gathering which unfortunately we did not know, nor did they know just how long the devil bug hung out and how contagious it still was.. well we soon found out. Brad was up ill at midnight on that Monday.. then Brady was ill... we thought he was fine and had recovered from his one time of getting sick on Monday, but no... it was not over.. Wed. we had the flu that included the "south pole"... that was just awful... Brady received his first rash EVER.. (can you believe that) and it was just miserable for all of us. Christmas Eve I woke up at 4 am and I had finally caught the bug. I called my mom later that morning and she told me that she had been up all night ill as well. It was not cool at all, I have NEVER felt as horribly as this bug made me feel. We ended up having Christmas with just the three of us which was fine, but it made me very sad that I couldn't get together with my side for Christmas.
Our Christmas week was alot of this.. reaching up.. wanting to snuggle...

Hi outside, I miss you.
There was gallons of pedialite consumed :)

Does this not look gross? I was looking for any kind of home remedy to get that bootie better.. This was a lipton tea bag bath.. don't know if it helped, but we didn't get any worse either :)

That is a lot of whining though.. let me move on :).

Brady was ALMOST there with loving Christmas, however, I am thinking next year will be THE YEAR. This one he was almost interested, but not all the way :). For example, this was the only present at our house that he "opened", and that is the only strip of paper that he "pulled" :).

BUT... it is a progression from last year where there was absolutely no participation ;)...

I ordered another ornament for little monster this year, and a family ornament as well. I think they are 2 of my favorites!

B got ALOT of goodies, he and Daddy had a great time playing with them as well! I didn't imagine that he would do as well as he did with the crawl through tube I got him but Brad got him going and he wouldn't stop! As you can see, when you are literally confined to the house for a week in order to not get anyone else sick- this is what happens-

Ever since we visited our friends Lyle & Jen and Brady had a fantastic time playing with their fan switches.. it's always on his agenda. However, ours are much higher, and momma's arms turn to jelly! Good thing for big strong baby daddy's!

Ummm, sweet baby daddy, he isn't even paying attention to your giant caterpillar self haha!

There he goes!

I super duper love this picture!

Pictures for the scrapbook (oh yeah, I am lazy and haven't pulled that one together yet :)) HONORABLE MENTIONING!

Before we get going, let me mention that Brady was opening presents streaker style to air out the "south pole" that woke us up at 4 am Christmas morning rearing it's ugly flu self!

I do have to say that there need not be any fear that my tradition yearning self will not be making STREAKING a tradition for our family :)~

OHHH the temptation!

Can't.. take...it...any....more...

Our only picture together on the actual Christmas day.. Although I think it was for the better with my flu wiped out self :).

This one is one for the desk sanctuary o' Brady for sure!

My blue eyed beauties.. Brady was sportin' the Justin Bieber hair.

Just because picture..

New activity cube!

I made him a Santa cookie plate and a reindeer carrots plate..

Don't worry hunkie, noone is looking :)

We are so very blessed, and without the flu devil, we had a great Christmas with lots of family time and goodies to top off those festivities.
