Tantrums and tiny angels..

HELP.. HELP.. AND MORE HELP PLEASE!

Oh does the kiddo have some frustration, and ohhhh how he expresses it. I do have to say that I would like to think that my pushoverness (new word by created by yours truly, splendid) is decreasing as the tantrums are increasing :). OH how he loves the outdoors, and OH how he hates to come indoors when “outdoor time” comes to an end. Getting a tad bit better, but it’s definitely up in the air as to whether you will get a fit or not when trying to herd him indoors. Most evenings now I let him run until he is pooped in the backyard while I am getting dinner ready. The only thing good about our little cottage (besides being blessed with the roof overhead, thank you Jesus (you know I am kidding when I joke about our home right Jesus??)) is that I can get a full view of our entire backyard with all of the windows open. It’s a win win situation.. he and basset play and he is in paradise in the great outdoors and I can go in and out and get dinner ready. It does crack me up because if he is near the door and he is inside, he will hurry up and run outside afraid that outdoor time has come to an end haha.. and if he is anywhere near going inside and I am headed inside, he will run away from the door as fast as he can like YOU AREN'T SNATCHING ME UP TO GO INSIDE :).

The mimicking, as scary as our future can be with Brad and I’s mouths, is pretty darn funny. With the fits and the tantrums and the wrestling while changing the diaper that in no way can be comfortable, I will let out a grrrrrrrrr.. when I am done like the annoyed noise that we can make when we are frustrated. He will copy me lol.. and keep running around the house growling and growling haha! I swear that I am moving ninety to nothin’ until that kiddos eyes shut, and most of the time when his eyes shut that means I have time to finally get something done so I keep on truckin’. My soft sheets are appreciated endlessly once I get in them and don’t remember my head hitting the pillow, and for those wondering it is not because of too many glasses of wine, MOMMA IS EXHAUSTED :). He loves to mimic me with one of our toothbrushes too.. When I am brushing my teeth he loves to take Brad’s toothbrush (Brad loves me for that :)) and hold it under the water and stick it in his mouth over and over. Well, he will see me moving the toothbrush around as I brush my teeth and then while the toothbrush is in his mouth he will move his elbow up and down really fast trying to copy me. It’s so funny!

We had our first ORDER AND RUN last Friday night at Chili’s. In his defense, they sat us at a booth for 2, which COME ON, don’t even waste your time making a table that small- I think he may have his mom’s anxiety issues :). From the second we tried to get the feet in the highchair holes, SSSSSCREAMING! Long story short, I had already ordered a glass of wine so I told Brad that we just needed to not do this tonight and asked for him to just take Brady home and I would order us some “to go” and drink my glass of momma juice. I guess it’s not bad to only have one running out of the restaurant order and run instance in 2 years. I refused to see if he would cooperate while he was screaming his head off.. I think it’s with all of my years in waitressing, or having to put up with a screaming child pre-Brady when all I wanted was a peaceful dinner.. it’s just not fair to others- so off Brad and Brady went. I got home and he was sitting in his chair with his nuggets and I said, my love did you hate it there, he said with the best fake laugh YEEEAAAAHHHH. Such good timing.

Overall it is so much fun, tantrums and all! We have a great time with him and laugh more than not! He loves when I tell him secrets saying PSSST, PSST, PSST in his ear, just cracks him up. At night as I turn off the lights and pick him up for one last snuggly hug, we talk about everything he is going to dream about as he lays his head on my shoulder and repeats everything I say while holding my hand. We have fun at bath time and draw with bath crayons which he thoroughly enjoys! We play chase, oh how he loves some chase! No matter where we are, if there is a good stretch of “terrain”, he will go screeching from one end to the other and couldn’t be having more fun while doing it, especially if a friend jumps in to join! He is still such a little lover and gives a kiss even after his million trips to time out :). He is so independent and just wants to take in everything in one short second. We are still quite the picky eater, but heck he’s eating so who cares right? At least it isn’t Snicker bars and butterfingers, just chicken nuggets and fish sticks!! :) In school yesterday his teachers said he was standing at the door and saying HIIII to everyone :). That is a huge sigh of relief as he is seems to be relaxing and fitting right in into the life o’ school (sniff sniff).

Last Thursday one of my very best friends gave birth to these 2 beauties!

Dylan had a little jaundice, so she had to do a little "tannin" :)

Dylan and Harper Barton joined us at a wonderfully healthy weight of 6 lbs. and 5 lbs. 11 oz.! I cannot believe that the skinny momma even had room in her tiny little body to have almost 12 lbs. of baby in that little belly! After years of trying to be the mother that she is meant to be, she started the role by giving those beauties a perfect womb to grow to such a wonderful size in! They are just perfect as can be, there are so many people that are so in love with them, and that love their sweet parents as well. So happy for them and this new endeavor! Hold on tight my dears :).

Now for some pics. that I took over the weekend!! I will make my own title like every other blog, redneck style-

FEATURED FOTOS! :)

Gigi is comfy :)

Aunt Ashley got some lovin' time on the little ladies!

It's been too long since I have taken some of these shots of mi familia :)

Well we have quite the week/weekend coming up!! Our first trunk or treat, family pictures, pumpkin carving, and celebrating baby daddy's day o' birth!! How lucky we all are that that day came!! Less than a month before little guys big ol' number 2 birthday! We are not even going to attempt to throw the party at the house like last year, and I can't tell you how excited I am about that! I am ordering stuff instead of making it, and it may be a couple of bucks more but I tell you what, my anxiety and the hair on my head staying intact and under control... I WOULD PAY A MILLION! OK the check would bounce if I wrote out a check for a million, but I could write it in my prettiest handwriting! Fun times! I can't believe in a couple of days it will only be a month until BLACK FRIDAY!! I also can't believe that I have 5 Christmas presents under my belt already!! Work it, work it!! Well guess what??

We have 60 sleeps, 9 hours, 18 minutes & 30 seconds until the big fella gets here!! Which by the way I think the last time I put the countdown I put the countdown in month increments, days increments, and hours increments haha! I was thinking that it was the number of months, and then a day or two, and an hour or two. I realized today when it said 2 months and 59 days, WAAAAIT A SECOND, that isn't right.. haha.. I need to catch up on sleep :)!

Until next time, toodle oooooo!
