Crackin' the whip!

Well, I guess it’s in the kiddos blood that he also thinks the house needs to be spotless..

Here is the scenario..
We get home from mom's one evening, I am in the kitchen getting your highness’s dinner ready when I hear him messing with a knob and doing the good ol’ EH, EH, EH, EH… noise that he makes when he wants something that I have grown to love NOT ;). I walk in there to open the closet door that has the evil sucker in it and ask my master if it’s time to vacuum or something and giggle as I open the door and get the vacuum out so HE can play with it. I start walking back to the kitchen and here comes the EH, EH, EH, EH! So I say- what’s wrong baby, momma’s getting your goodies ready. He walks up to the vacuum and gives one EH and is looking at me as he reaches for it. I don’t think you have to be a pro to know that that looking at me while touching the evil sucker means, TURN IT ON MOMMA, DO IT! DO IT! I walk towards the vacuum, he runs to go sit in his little person chair by the couch and starts sippin’ his juice like I am fixing to put on a show or something HAHA! I said, well now that isn’t right MASTER B! Is momma gonna put on a cleaning show or what, I start laughing and walk off saying we will clean after dinner.  I will just be a liar and say that he DID NOT THROW HIMSELF ON THE GROUND WITH A FULL FIT that momma wasn’t going to vacuum! I just shook my head and kept walking to the kitchen, is that not bonkers!! Heavens to Betsy!

This year sure is different from last year when Brad was working and missing out on little Brady! Now we call him every night while I am getting him dressed after bath time  (which I found is a ROCKIN’ distraction when trying to wrestle the alligator getting him dressed) and he just talks, talks, talks to his daddy on the phone. He has started being HIIIIILARIOUS with saying no, and the timing of saying no. Brad- DO YOU MISS DADDY? Bub- NOO! HAHA! He is so funny with the “no” too, some are longer than others, some are more high pitched. Just so funny and such perfect timing although I know that he only knows to say them when we ask a question and not the subject matter of the question itself ;). We have always said NIIIIGH NIIIIGH since I can’t even remember when. Well one night Brad said it, and Brady was just the sweetest piece of pie and said it so sweetly and softly with long “IIIII”’s :). Brad said ‘looooove you’ and Brady said AAAAAHHH UUUHHHH which is only love you from the rhythm as it sounds nothing like it haha. It melted both of our hearts, such a sweet little guy. Even if he keeps a whip in his back pocket ;).

The mystery of figuring out what in the heck his baby words mean is on, full blown on. BAH! BAH! I am not sure if that will mean more eventually? But right now it comes with an outstretched hand, WRIST UP MIND YOU, pointing at just what he is wanting. Sometimes DAH! is also said with the flip of the wrist, so something is up with that whole “AH” thing. He is most definitely the demanding little guy although we always try to slow his roll with making him say please. It’s such a peaceful little “EEEEEE” too in a sweet voice. A good change from the “GET IT NOW” tone of the BAH!

My son ganked my heart from me again.... Why you say? He said Mama! Ok so he has been saying Mama since he was a little oinkling.. BUT…. They say mamamamamama and dadadadadadada from a young age and in all honesty don’t realize what they are saying exactly. Although do not tell Brad that because the first time Brady even acted like he was going to say the “d” noise, Brad was convinced that he was amazingly calling him FATHER and was ready to throw a baseball at 6 months old. ;0) So we are at Chili’s the other night and my demanding little lad wanted a chip.. the little guy LUHHUUUVVVSSS chips.. so he has been saying DADA? DADA? for a while. Like he was trying to get Brad’s attention but we couldn’t really tell.. sometimes it seemed like it.. sometimes not, it sounded like just yelling to get our attention (more times than not ;0)). Well last night Brad wasn’t paying mind to him saying DADA so he looks at me and says MAMA? and is reaching for a chip and looks right at me! Then he continued to do that the rest of the night! I was like.. uhhhhh you can have infinity chips from me right now… MELLLLLLTTTINNNGGG! ;) It was freaking awesome! Even if he is saying it VERY DEMANDING.. LIKE, MAMA! NOW! Lol. Heavens. Mom also told me that one day after I had shut the door to go to work he said “BYEBYE MAMA”. Could that not melt you! Man, here he goes… I see a major push over in my future :).

My son will be a “student” at a church 2 days a week beginning 9/7 from 9-2! I am more concerned than I thought I would be :(. He carries a sippy around a lot, what if they don’t give him enough to drink? What if he doesn’t want to rest during rest? What if his picky eating causes him to not eat? We would cook him something else because that drives me crazy thinking he’s gonna starve or somethin’ :). Although I know this is the best for him and he will enjoy playing with little people so much.. I know he will live, but it still makes me crazy thinking about him growing up :). This also brings me to a new ‘venture through anxiety land in my good ol’ mind. They sleep on little nap mats at school, they have a resting period that starts around 12:30. Little B is still taking a “break” in the morning which sometimes includes a nap, and sometimes it is just a break for him to read and relax. He takes a full nap in the afternoon.. So this is going to be a huge transition and I fully think I will have “that kid” that is a wild Indian running around while others rest :). She said that we will be shocked at how he will follow the lead of the others and rest as well. SHOCK AWAY LADY, SHOCK AWAY… Please let me be proven wrong by my little angel with occasional horns :). That being said, we are going to take on the big boy bed over Labor Day weekend. I am such a believer in consistency and I can’t imagine him being in a different place with his new school and also not having a crib to sleep in for him and his sweet little mind just racing with wonder! You want me to do what? Where’s my crib!? You want me to lay on that? All these friends here and you want me to sleep? I figured if mom and I also take him out of the crib that maybe that will help if he has the same environment sleeping wise? We will see.. I have promised myself that I will not read the internet like an encyclopedia when things wonder me with Brady because I just got the badoodles scared out of me when I read tooooo much when he was a new fella. But this, I am reading, I am going to say that this “situation” and new step in this guy growing at lightning speed is just one that has my anxiety out the roof wondering how to go about it the best way. I am hoping that among the many other “he has proved me wrong again” stories that I have told on this blog that this one will go down in the history books as being a piece of cake, ONCE AGAIN PLEASE PROVE ME WRONG!  SOOOOO, I had already planned to use some vacation time on the Labor Day weekend and took off Thursday and Friday of that week… so Wed. night, away we go to see where this new venture takes us! It may take us right back to the crib, but we got 5 nights to see ;).

Now on to the fun stuff! Pictures!

Climbin' around in the bouncy house!

Daddy may be having more fun the Bubbie!

You know you wanna smooch! Do it! Do it!

My twins :)

He loves the battery operated toothbrush! He was walking around the house with it on and letting it just hang out of his mouth haha!

We went to the pool in Pflugerville with the big slide that you can take your kids down with you! He loved it soooo much! I wish I would have taken this picture at a better angle! I love his face and the pure happiness in that smile!

The landing!! WEEEEEE!

Heading down the slide for the first time!

This looks like a Sea World act where the trainer has a dolphin pushing them haha!

This sweet little face makes my world go 'round!

Zerberts are the best!

Noo mooorree, caannnt breeeaatthhee haha!

I think this face says it all, life is just so dadgum rough sometimes huh bub!

This picture cracks me up because in my camera when I was scanning through pictures he was posed the exact same, but there was a smile and then....

Nuttin' hahaha!

Peekin' at momma sittin' in his blanket fort :)

Please ignore the huge gash that happened when he was a super climber getting in the chair. I love his sweet little face in this.. Nigh, Nigh!

I totally remember the fun that we had when we were growing up with blanket forts!

We had a sweet little baby girl join us for dinner and SOMEONE felt that he needed to give one of his beginning favorites a try.

Sorry baby, that bad boy ain't movin' with you in it.

This is little Brynnan and her momma Nicki, is she not so precious! Her hair melts me!

He was soooo curious about Brynnan and she just peacefully watched him tug at her toes, rock her a little hard, but totally loved her :)
