Well my goodness, raise your hand if you are the worst blogger in the whole wide universe!! MEEEEE MEEEE MEEEE! :) And just so you know, I wrote this blog at the beginning of July and am just now getting pics. uploaded and posting it hahaha! It's a liiiiiiittle behind!
It is so amazing to me how much Brady changed and developed with just 10 hours a week of social interacting in a school setting! What I also can’t believe is that that first year quickly flew by, thank you gifts were given to the teacher and off to summer session we went! New teachers, new friends, new fun! Brady really found his musical talent this year in school :), he shocked all of us with the beautiful songs that would come out of those sweet lips! It was very sweet, the look that he gets on his face when you chime in and sing with him! I should buffer that with “sometimes” because there are times when he would like it to be a solo performance and will tell you NO! NO! NO!...HMPH.. excuuuuuuuse me :). He made some really cute friends in school! I wanted to show you this ADORABLE book that Brady brought home with him on the last day of school. Here are some pictures of the book, I definitely will be keeping that in the good ol’ baby book!
It warmed my heart and I couldn’t have given a more thoughtful gift for a momma after the first big year of “school” away from our loving arms.. He starts big boy school FULL TIME on Sept. 4th! I am very excited for this new endeavor for him! My good friend’s kids have gone there, and her relationship with the teachers and all of the kids activities just have me pumped!! If I can’t have him with my mom, then I suppose that this school will be the next best thing to calm my nerves about him not being with my mom :).
I have not yet posted on our newest family member!!
Sweet little Own joined us on the morning of May 12 weighing a precious 4 lbs. 12 oz. and shocking all of us with being 18” tall! Owen decided just a little early that he was going to keep our family on their toes, he came to see us 6 weeks earlier than anyone expected. It is quite an amazing birth story, but basically my sister in law was in a minor car accident that actually her going in to be on the safe side that she and Owen were ok ended up saving both of their lives! The car accident did not bring her any bruising or scratches, but what it did was notify the doctors that she had developed a syndrome called HELLP syndrome. It can be VERY dangerous in mothers so they decided after a couple of steroid shots, that we were going to have Baby Owen on May 12th, the day before Mother’s Day :). It was my first time to go in a NICU, what tiny angels that are so amazing in their strength!!!
Spelling out OWEN in the waiting room :) Jeremy's face cracks me up!
This is proud papa walking out to see us for the first time after Owen arrived! I love that smile so much!
He was absolutely perfect, so tiny but so proportionate.
Owen’s long story short, he had some issues arise with sleep apnea and blood platelet problems that had him in the NICU until May 19th when my brother, his wife, and my new nephew were able to come home and enjoy their new family… just the 3 of them! It’s been quite an experience for all of us, but those 3 have such an amazing bond already, and just so much love. I love them very much!
Here are some pictures from a photo shoot the little guy had!
I have so much more to put on this blog, but I want to make it shorter then it is already so I will stop here and save it for next week as I need to get better at this blog again as he keeps growing faster and faster!!
