HAPPY BIRTH"WEEKEND" BABY BOY!

VERY EXCITED BIRTHDAY BOY!

OK, I have 3 posts in my head that I need to do... ;).. let's get the birthday one out the door first :). I tried to post pics but Blogger said.. uh for that many.. fork over some mula :). I am going to try to post a few of my favs and then a link to view them all. I am going to try to do bits and pieces in more than one blog.... we'll see :).

First off, what a busy weekend it was... We had to do 2 parties after deciding to do the celebrations at our house with it being his first. Not sure who has or hasn't been to our loving abode.. but the approx. 60 family and friends that were on the invite list.. yeah they weren't fittin' all at once. We kept it to immediately family and his kiddo friends... Next year.. I hate to see how big the bash will be when we open the flood gates to a more extended group of invitees :). It's crazy just how big our family is just with both sides of the family at one place at one time!!

We started the weekend out on Saturday, November 20th with the family party... I thought I was going to have an anxiety attack, and it all came from NOWHERE. I have always referenced an "anxiety attack" in somewhat of a comical manner.. but not on Sat. My to-do list was 64 items long... MYYYYYY TO DO LIST. Not my "to assign someone else to do list".. MYYYY TO DO LIST. It was ridiculous... and I can say that I will not do it next year, but you know I will. For some reason I enjoy whoopin' my own bootie. ***sigh***. I could go on about that all day, but overall everything went as planned and I thought it came together very well from the idea in my head to the actual day of.

There was a bouncy house for the older, even the younger if they wished... There were tons of snacks from baby snacks to adult snacks... lots of food and drinks.. lots of fun kiddos and family members... lots of toys...

The Sat. party he was very interested in the cake, although finicky to touching it at first :).

OK... SO IS IT ME OR DO YOU SEE A PATTERN HERE? I THINK MY SWEET LITTLE DIVO (MASCULINE FOR DIVA... I MADE IT UP.. :) I THINK... HAVEN'T LOOKED IN WEBSTER'S) MIGHT HAVE A DISLIKE FOR "ICKIES"...

He got so many fun things that he has showed so much interest... We are so fortunate and so very lucky to have such amazing family members and friends. Everyone was so generous and bought him such nice things.. Those such nice things ended up causing momma/ daddy to take apart my guest bedroom and turn it in to BUBBIE'S SEEEECOND ROOM :).

I don't mind one bit though because having the opportunity for a play room is something I feel lucky to have because our little house was not going to be fun to have all those toys around the living room.. He looooves that ball pit.. he will face plant jump in that thing and let out the best laugh.. we just have to watch him because he will try to do the same, EXITING.. Sorry baby boy.. I wish the world was a big ball pit.. wouldn't that be ideal :).

We love our family and friends.....everyone is so loving to him, and us.. and just makes us feel the love.. Thank you for everything.. Love to you all.. I will leave you all with some pics.. as I have lots o' blogs to post with lots o' info. :).
