Well, I got used and abused today :)…. Today’s appt. was rather boring and I am glad that I told Brad that he could work if he wanted (his boss offered him to work today, they have been off on Mondays but had an opportunity for some fabulous overtime today). They did my 35 week test for THE HIV :), Chlamydia, Group B Strep, and lord knows what else.. oh my blood sugar. I got stuck like a pin cushion too, which NEVER happens to me I always have good veins and MOST nurses never have a problem. By the 5th prick and her saying gosh, it’s right there why can’t I get it, I was about to do it myself. Good night NURSE, no pun intended, it just seems like a basic thing that you would have to be good at as a nurse you know? Maybe I am wrong… :). My glucose test on my urine sample actually showed high (so I had to explain my downing of Apple Jacks and OJ this morning :)…. Then on my finger prick (thank god that was done right :) ) it came back perfect, so WHO KNOWS.. we all know my sugar levels love to play games! Everything came back normal and great, so on down the next 5 weeks we go, ready or not. His heart rate was 135 which is great, he was actually at 130 at the sonogram on Saturday which I didn’t like AT ALL… but my doctor told me between 120-160 we don’t worry. Yeah I wish it was that easy :)…
No sonogram today or measurements for him… BORING :)… Come on tell me how chubby wubby he is PLLLLEEASE :)!!! She also checked my cervix which I don’t think anyone has actually pressed the issue to me of how UNCOMFORTABLE THAT IS! :) Shame on y’all :). J/K! I am dialated NADA hahaha! Which I was told was exactly how we want it by my doctor (she is speaking for herself right there ;) ). But yeah I was like, YUP I will be just as huge of a wiener as I thought when I speak of having a baby. :) I was like, NO THANKS I WILL KEEP MY KNEES TOUCHING, THANKS hahaha! LEAVE ME ALONE! :) so yeah I don’t think that Brad would have really liked experiencing all that although he will from now on at the other appts too :), I assume they will check me every time now. I have PERFECT blood pressure… I am fortunate for that but man I would not mind being confined to my house for work :). There are too many sick-o’s in my workplace right now anyways so it is very welcomed having to stay home :).

Saturday’s sonogram went well, he was a lazy boy though. I didn’t drink the OJ that I did the first time and figured I would be good :). He is not very active around 10 am so I should have as that is when my appt. was. That apparently is his nap time :), right after momma has her “second breakfast”.. He is very snuggled up to my placenta… The sonogram tech. told me that they can hear the mother’s heartbeat, so he is trying to snuggle with momma’s heart :). That was so sweet to me.. I think getting chubby’s cheeks into the world is going to be the hardest part of labor hahaha!! That kiddo has got the most fabulous big ol cheeks and lips… I can’t wait until he is here and smells all Johnson & Johnson lotioney (I know I made that word up and my spell check is gonna whoop me :) ) and kissin’ those cheeks… man.. so exciting :). He has all kinds of drama going on in the gut o love lol… gettin’ squishy! He had the cord in his face… placenta…. Haha… so the pics are few that are good. I need to make copies of the ones that she handed us because they aren’t bad… Here are a few!

This one his lips like his daddy's!! He has that little point that comes down in the middle of his top lip, just like his pops!!
