It's just a name right???

WRONG!

Oh the challenges we face once we find out what gender is going to come flying out of us, or should I say me, in ohhhh 144 days :). I mean the first question I had thrown at me was ARE YOU CIRCUMSIZING? Ohhhh my dear are we really already talking about my baby boy's thingy!! I just found out! :) You can imagine what all conversation was had after that :)

Name seems to be the first thing that we have been asked and it has also been the hardest question to answer? All I keep thinking is man it is just so permanent!! I know there is no rush, I want a name to call my little man! Of course, I am shocked that Brad's eyebrows have not become stuck in the "cock-eyed" position as it seems every "unique" name I come up with gets the crooked eyebrow lift :). I told him that there MUST be a name out there that we will both like! It's not like I can choose a name or vice versa and the other one not like it and then go with it right? I mean I can't imagine having a child and not liking the name that I will be calling him for the rest of my years with him :). Although I am sure that I will have some cutsie pie name that I will have for him that will embarrass him because that is fun :). So after MUCH denial we have gone back to one of the original names that we liked which is- DRUMROLL PLEASE!!

Brady has always been an old favorite and just seems to be the one that Mr. Bradley can't pass up ;). It doesn't have any significant history to it like we are naming him after someone or anything, we just like it :) and the way it flows together. We really liked Connor, but Connor Connell just asks for my son to be a fugitive :) Too many "Con's" :). Then we liked Chance James, which just doesn't sound good together at all in my opinion, it just sounds like a REALLY LONG NAME ;). Brady James has a good rhythm to it :)..... The only fear that we have with this name which I will try with all my might to prevent :), is B.J. coming out of his name. #1- That name doesn't remind me of someone good (you know that cheesy stuff you link names too :)), and #2 I don't have to explain the joke that he might have to deal with in his adolescent years :). I think if Brad and I don't call him BJ that we have nothing to worry about. I mean come on, Brady is just 3 more letters to say HAHAHA!

James came about from the wonderful and beautiful person that my beloved pawpaw was before he went to be with the good Lord above. I have always said that if I had a son that his middle name would be James. It then dawned on me, I guess I was walking around in quite a fog in my younger days (ok and it hasn't gone away :)), because my grand-dad's name is James as well as my good ol' pops himself :). Brad was A-OK with that as a middle name as well as it was the name of his grandfather. With that many wonderful men in your life, how could James not be in the name equation :). So that will be our handsome little fella's name :).

With that being nailed down, it's now time for fun decorating although Martha Stewart is really coming out of me! I have TOO many ideas for the nursery! Brad and I went to Babies R Us last weekend and registered (I know it may be early but it sounded like fun :) ). Brad lasted a good 2 hours but I knew it was time to call it quits with the registering when he went to take a smoke break HAHAHA! My sweet dear husband..... I am sure everyone that saw him knew what chaos was going on inside :). Besides that we are just working to get our house here rented out and get a house in Austin that we like. Tons going on, but it is more then welcomed as I can't believe how fast time has gone by in the first half of pregnancy!! However, I also can't believe that this Saturday I will ONLY be half way done :). I noticed yesterday, HEEYYYYY I HAVEN'T FELT SICK OR ANYTHING! I also didn't feel as tired, so I think I finally had that "moment" in a pregnant woman's life when you realize you are out of the tired nasty feeling first trimester! I heard it would hit you, and it sure did and made me happy! :)
